CaliMob Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading and using CaliMob ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CaliMob is a mobile ebook reader for Android that connects to your personal Calibre library. It supports reading EPUB, PDF, CBZ/CBR, MOBI/AZW3 files and playing audiobooks. The App syncs books from cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, WebDAV, FTP, OPDS) or local device storage.

3. User Data

CaliMob stores all data locally on your device. The App does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers. Reading progress, bookmarks, and library metadata remain on your device unless you explicitly connect to a cloud backend for sync.

4. Cloud Backends

When you connect to a cloud backend (Google Drive, Dropbox, WebDAV, etc.), CaliMob accesses only the folders you authorize. The App reads book files and metadata from your cloud storage. Your cloud provider's terms of service apply to the data stored there.

5. Demo Library

CaliMob provides access to a Demo Library containing public domain ebooks, comics, and audiobooks. This content is free to read and is served from our servers. The Demo Library is provided "as is" without warranty.

6. Intellectual Property

CaliMob is owned by DM Devs. You are granted a non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the App.

7. Disclaimer

CaliMob is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or compatibility with all devices. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, cloud sync errors, or user actions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DM Devs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the App or our website.
